I dont understand why that has anything to do with it. When you work for a union, its is typical, especially when you are on the bottom rung of the ladder.

I dont feel bad for all the guys working on the rig and pipeline when they get laid off for a few months. They typically make enough cash to still live quite well

he has to pass a piss test. and he likes his drugs so i think that was the main cause of it all

hes lucky if he just got laid off if he did indeed fail a piss test, I wonder if it was code for fired or suspended.


He took it like a champ though, I didnt hear one bit of complaining from him, so I do admire that.

Consider this BJ. You tell me putting staggered wheels on FWD car is "dumb" or"useless" or whatever, then in the very same year you put oversize BFG A/T's on a Honda CRV. Realistically just as "dumb" and "useless", and no doubt hurt the fuel economy and acceleration in the process.

Maybe time to relax the function whore flag you always fly, and realize not everything is done in the name of performance improvement. Sometimes is just about having fun.

- I put oversized BFG A/T's on my crv with the intent of having lots of fun in the snow this year, which i did.
- Like there was any real acceleration out of the crv to begin with
- I still got around 375km's to a tank and im gonna be honest, my company paid for 80% of my gas since ive owned the crv

I have had lots of FUN with the crv while improving its FUNCTION off road and on the snowy roads (when we had them) this winter. So is it still "dumb" and "useless"? i don't think so.

So, essentially what you are saying is you made your crv all around worse and less functional 99% of the time. I don't know about you but putting oversized a/t on a crv is pretty much the definition of form>function.

No no no, if you read carefully i said "improve FUNCTION off road and on snowy roads (when we had them)" The crv did not get noticeably worse in any way. Also, if i hadn't put those tires on then i wouldn't have gone out off roading as much as i did. So i would say that is not the definition of Form>Function because i went out a considerable amount of times. But you wouldnt know that unless you're some kind of stalker.

Hey I like the CRV, I think it looks boss. But come on now, it wasn't all for function, it was for bad ass looks too. I can't even imagine how much heavier those wheels are vs stock. I bet it's more lbs per corner then your Rays are lighter then stock S2000 wheels.

Although on the deep snow thing, I totally felt ripped off this year too. I finally put A/T's on my Audi and then get 1 inch of snow all winter, bahhhh.

Poor Jason got a ticket and tow in Winnipeg...
