Started the winter prep on the G35 today. All products are Chemical Guys. I began with a Yellow Hex Logic pad and some CG 700 OEM extreme compound. Six passes cleaned up the scratches/swirls nicely. Wiped down with Luber to remove any residue. Then moved onto an Orange Hex Logic pad and CG V36 Optical Hybrid compound. Four passes really brought a clean clear shine to the paint. Got rid of the last of the scratches and left a glass-like finish. You can pick out individual flakes in the metallic... A Green Hex pad and Black Light Hybrid Radiant finish was next. 3 passes had gotten rid of any imperfections that were left, as well as adding some gloss. Tomorrow will be completion of the Black Light, coat of M-Seal.
